Riehle's Select Gourmet Popcorn is our family name and our company sits on the fertile Indiana farm land that has been in the Riehle family since 1910. We chose the word Select because we feel we have selected the best eating and tasting popcorns available. Our popcorn is considered GOURMET POPCORN because we grow the popcorn for taste and great quality, not large quantity like some larger commercial popcorn companies. Our popcorn is also GMO free.

Popcorn is a very healthy, nutritious, natural and whole grain snack. It is grown in a field on a cob, just like sweet corn, as seen in the picture on the right. Once the popcorn in the field is at the right moisture to pop, it is shelled by a combine and sent through various cleaning machines keeping only the best kernels. We use air systems so the corn is not damaged during transferring from the grain bins into the cleaners. After the cleaning process we continue to maintain freshness until it is contained in a sealed bag or container. All the packaging and labeling is done right here on the farm.
